Our Voting Rights are at risk. Take action to prevent the erosion of our rights–ALL of our rights.

“Voting gives all Americans a voice in our government. That’s why people have fought, and died for it since our country was founded.

But since 2010, Republicans have been shamelessly attempting to limit voting access. They’ve passed restrictive voter ID laws, cut back early-voting hours, and eliminated same-day voter registration. The list goes on.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act. But this important and historic law has been largely undermined by a 2013 Supreme Court ruling. Now we have to act to stop voter suppression once and for all.

Congressmen Mark Pocan and Keith Ellison have introduced a constitutional amendment that reads simply:

“Every citizen of the United States, who is of legal voting age, shall have the fundamental right to vote in any public election held in the jurisdiction in which the citizen resides.””
